Stay or leave?

I have a wound that does not heal
Not a person or soul could imagine what I feel
I have a wound that opens with each passing day
Not a nurse nor doctor can take it away
All the medicine in the world cannot elix it
The pain in my wound deepens each passing day
Not a man made remedy can take it away.
The wound that I describe of is the wound in my heart
Caused by the pain and suffering that u brought in my life
If I choose to, I can heal it at the drop of a dime
In doing so the pain will not only be in my heart
but also my mind.
For going back to you will make you believe that you are
right.
In wanting to avoid this, I will not even put up a fight
Instead I will wait, and see if what they say is true
I will let nature take its course
and let time heal my wound
